For my masters thesis, I aim to elucidate the physiological and ecological responses of these organisms to nano plastic exposure, shedding light on the potential cascading effects within terrestrial ecosystems. By discerning the intricate mechanisms underlying plastic-organism interactions, my work strives to inform evidence-based conservation strategies aimed at mitigating the deleterious impacts of plastic pollution on biodiversity and ecosystem functioning.
