I am a PhD student co-supervised by Madhav P. Thakur and Eric Allan. My PhD thesis will focus on linking plant functional traits to ecosystem invasibility and the performance of invasive plants under global changes. Specifically, I aim to address three main questions:
How do plant traits mediate the diversity-invasibility relationship under multiple global changes?
How does trait-based invasion resistance, and its underlying mechanisms, change over time?
How do climatic extremes alter conspecific feedbacks for native versus invasive plants, and what are the underlying trait mechanisms?
