I am a new postdoc who will focus on plant species coexistence and biodiversity synthesis in the PaNDiv experiment. I am an ecologist with broad interests in plant-plant and plant-microbe-insect interactions.

I completed my PhD at Leiden University in The Netherlands. During my four-year PhD program, I worked on the temporal dynamics of plant-soil feedbacks, with a particular focus on the bacterial drivers. Additionally, I examined the roles of plant-soil feedback and legacy effects at both plant population and community levels. Throughtout most of these studies, Jacobaea vulgaris, served as the focal species. In my postdoc in Bern University, I will be expanding my research scope to diverse plant communities. My major focus will be on linking species coexsitence and multifunctionality, as well as the stability of ecosystem functioning. Furthermore, I will apply the knowledge and skills I acquired during my PhD to develop  experiments based on the PaNDiv setup,  which may also provide opportunities for potential master internships.
